2세대 MIPS(Mobile Integrated Positioning System)는 Applied Acousitcs 사의 다양한 Sigma 2 수중 비콘과 호환되는 고성능 광대역 Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) 수중 목표물 위치 추적 송수신기(transceiver)입니다. 송수신기의 음향 성능은 저소음 환경에서 표적의 높은 고도 추적이 필요한 해안 및 근해에서의 작업에 최적화되어 있습니다. 또한 MIPS 2는 AHRS 센서가 내장되어 수색 및 인양 응용 분야에 Pitch, Roll 및 방위 자료를 제공합니다.
고성능 MIPS 2 송수신기는 10개의 수중 표적에 대한 강력한 목표물 추적을 가능하게 합니다. MIPS 2 송수신기는 모든 해군 해저 위치 요구 사항에 대해 반구형(hemispherical) 및 방향형(directional) 음향 풋 프린트(footprint)를 제공하는 두 가지 형식으로 제공합니다.
MIPS 2 송수신기는 해군 플랫폼 및 환경에서 사용할 수 있도록 소형 설계로 해저 위치 확인 솔루션을 제공합니다. 시스템 통합은 선상 및 자율 선박의 OEM 애플리케이션에 이상적인 고속 직렬 링크를 통해 이루어집니다.
